Default Nut and bolt sizes

Does anyone have the thread size of the exhaust manifold studs and of the starter bolts.

Some how during the project I lost both starter bolts and the nuts for the exhaust manifolds.

Any help is appreciated.

Dennis

get a tap and die set, and then you can use that to fidure out the sizes...also, for the studs anyway, you cna use an open end wrench...find a wrench that the open end fits around the stud with very little slop, then thats the size, but then you'll need a guage to find the TPI or pitch...

besides that, hard to even guess when you didnt say anything about year, make, model, engine size, etc...

Good point Yoda Bill, my bad for not explaining the basics.

1994 Bronco with 5.0L

I started a thread in the Rig Build and pics and just plain forgot to keep giving all the vital info on this thread. I will check and see if I have a tap and die set, my feeling is that its metric and I know i dont have one of those. I will stop at Auto Zone to see what nuts come with their replacement exhaust manifolds and go from there and check out their Help section.

Rock on with the exhaust manifold sizes. The starter bolts are elusive on the size.

However TY very much for the help!
