Ive used those before, and they work great. Youre off the wet ground, and rarely have to worry about waking up covered in 1/2 a million ants. Im actually thinking about getting another one for use when I backpack.


The only thing I didnt like about them was being blown around in passing thunderstorms.

I put a basic hammock up in the yard friday morning.
I want this one for camping on the fly.

I used a version of one of those in Panama during jungle school. They work very well, especially when getting bit by moskitos is the very least of your problems.

I believe it is.
300cm long x 125cm wide (9' 9" long x 4' wide). Comfortable for a person up to 7' 5" and 350 pounds.

There is a hammock a lot like this at the surplus store attached to Jays Sporting Goods.

General somethings Surplus, cant remember the whole name. Didnt check for a price tag though.
