Default EB axle swapped for a full size axle?

Will a '79 ford f150 or bronco axle bolt up to a early bronco suspension with little to no mods?
Anyone know some good suspension tricks for the EB suspension?

Yep have to get the 78 - 79 rad arms or move your perches in board.
Same on the rear 9" 78 - 79 is the best swap for this.

Best be is to get JDuffs or Cage arm's Long arm kits

You will have to move the coil buckets out away from the frame for a 79 front. If you get a earlier front you can cut off the radius arm wedges and move them in to match the EB front on the axle itself

Cut your spring upper mounts to tilt out 11* and do the same with your lowers tilt toward the axle 12* it will center you axle & flex better. 2c

Thanks, I have a YJ with a EB suspension and front axle on it and I think the front axle is bent. Plus the front suspension doesn't flex very much. I went to the junk yard and measured a 79 broncos radius arm mounts on the axle and they were only a inch wider.
Thanks for your help.

I thought it could just bolt in, the radius arms just are slightly angled.

I have full width axles I plan on putting in my EB this year.

The 78 -79 arms are bent a little bit in board.

If you go that route your springs will bow outward.
Best to angle the mounts a little. Help center it.
