Default TTEC Carnage & Updates (pics)

So here is an update, from what I can remember...

1st. Day:

*Erin broke a T-Case chain
*Mike Steele blew a tire during the comp & a front drive shaft on a night run playing around
*Tom Eddy blew 2 tires
*Red Jeep with a black hood broke his high steer & did a wheel stand out of the tire pit almost rolling over backwards

2nd. Day:

TOW TEST:
*Guy blew a drive shaft (serious hopping involved)

BLUE TRAIL:

*Erin bent a tie rod on the 1st. slab
*Ryan (2.5 Ton Jeep) bent a tie rod on the 1st. Slab
*Mike Steele blew a tire, & dented his oil pan pretty good on the 1st. Slab
*Guy broke a rear drive shaft, then spun the hole axle housing, taking out his brake lines and his coil overs
*Tom Eddy blew a rear drive shaft on the 2nd Slab
*Tom Tessner (Blazer) burned up a winch & blew out a window
*I had a rear Bilstein air bump stop just come apart, after the comp, making the 1st. Slab without winching

*Jason Cook (lime green Jeep) cracked a front diff on 2nd. Slab (had it welded by the night run on the yellow trail)

NIGHT RUN YELLOW TRAIL:

*Mike Steele blew a tire....again (3min ?sec.)
*Erin blew a tire but still beat Mike's time on 3 tires (3min ?sec.)
*Mike Raczynski (Yota) broke a front knuckle
*Kris Van Zee (a$$ punisher) I think broke something, but not sure

STANDING BEFORE NIGHT RUN:
(What I can remember)

OVERALL:
*Shawn (Inner Air Lock) 1st.
*Ron 2nd.
*Kris Van Zee 10th.
*Me 11th.
*Mike Steele 17th.

NIGHT RUN:
*Ron 2mins ?Sec (no winch)
*Erin 3mins ?sec (no winch)
*Mike Steele 3mins ?sec (no winch)
*Adam 5mins ?sec (no winch)
*Me 6mins ?sec (no winch)
*Shawn (Inner Air Lock) 6mins ?sec (winched)
*Tim (white ZJ) 9mins ?sec (winched)

I think 2 people timed out, & the Blazer (winched) was either one of them or darn close to the 20 minute time limit.

Several penalties through the whole comp thus far. A lot of winching, some good carnage, & great action.

Today is "HOLY MOLY". I think 3 or 4 challengers have dropped out so far, & Fabricator just couldn't make it in time, but did show up last night.

Dont for get the ones pulled off by the end loader. That big rock at the beginning and that middle concrete block were the stoppers.

Raczynski-toyota, no winch on the first rock climb.
Scott Willaims- took the fastest time on blue trail with 5 mins 9 seconds.

Anthony and his ZJ Rhino, did the night run with his spotter in the pass. seat the whole way in 6 mins. 2? seconds, he was whopping and hollering the whole way---good job.

.
Obstacle Course- Yooper camp finished 2nd and 3rd

Carnage-Orange YJ buggy, no steering-blew hydraulic line, bent 2.0 Fox Airshock, (Thanks to Northwest 4x4, for use of the shop to bend back the shock and move the mounts.

Tow Test-
Guy (44 boggers black YJ) got a full pull, Ryan gave her a run with new rear suspension set up-just not right

Carnage- Todd, Doblangler, broke Dana 300 long output shaft, snapped clean off, after some major hoping

BLUE TRAIL-
Ryan got through it, leaving his mark on every tree on the course and with some excellent spotting.

Carnage-
Todd was still broke,
Guy- Blew up rear end, everything, both sway away coilovers, pinion, brake lines, and 4-link.

3 for 3 broke before the Night run

Holy Molly-
After much help from Shawn/InnerAirlock.com, we found a t-case, and got Todd back together

The V rocks did in his front shaft but lots of winching and some cage shaking, got him through it with time to spare.

Can't wait for next year
