Default 401 Hulk in 75 CJ5

At last, it lives! The only prob with this project was that Clevite77 sent me a rod bearing with two different sizes, and I slapped it all together.

Pic before with AMC 304

$1500 invested in 401 parts.

Removed front clip. and slid it on the trans.

Just finished tuning the carb.

Its louder, and way more power. Turns 35's easy.

This one is a glass body, and was like that when I got it. I've only had two issues with the body; 1 every lamp and signal in the front needs it own ground wire, 2; I had to drill two holes in the floor to get at trans or case bolts that had become inaccessible. The bolts were now too long to pull out of thier bosses w/o hitting the body.
