Default Exaust Help

i recently severly cracked my muffler and need a new one. i would like one that is pretty tough, good sound but not too loud (when i hit it you know i'm there but not abnoctiously noisy on the street), and i would prefer its somewhat cheap.
any imput is welcome!

FM 50 sounds good on any motor in the ZJ IMHO.

x2, I have a FM50 on my 5.2 ZJ.

I can hardly hear it in the cab unless I'm stepping on it. Excellent sound without excessive noise.

I just put on a FM 40 on my scrambler. Sounds good, not too noisy idling and good sound when you step on it.

i like the fm 50 although on some of the other forums people tend to discourage flowmasters for some reason. are they pretty good ones or is there a better brand?
thanks for the replies guys

Nothing wrong with a FM IMO. They can take up a lot of space but they are pretty durable in my experience.

It's certainly a cheap alternative but I wouldn't run a glasspack, it's not going to last very long.

I'm not talking about the body of the muffler, I'm talking about what's inside it. Anyone I know (not saying there aren't people out there with the opposite experience) said they sounded great at first but went to shit pretty quickly.

i know from freinds of mine back in high school, that they would get them hot and hit water to spit the guts out of them. but ive had it on there for at least 4 months and been to the mounds twice on it and i dont think it has gone to shit. besides the fact that it howls bad b/c i dont have a tailpipe on it

i'd say depending on if u run a tail pipe and if so what size, i dd a cherokee with the l6 and i run a flo pro, kind of a dirtier diesel sound, alot of people ask me about it and like it. it's good welded muffler. i'm running a 2 1/4 out, should've did 2 1/2 though
