I used to haul this stuff called flurospar (kinda like wet flour) could load the trailer up in about 3 buckets and give me around 78000 lbs in the box and if would lift the back tires off the ground when pulling a bucket out of the pile would be around 13 tons a bucket

so my guess is that the log was around that maybe ???

I would love to have seen the owner of pick ups reaction when the loader unloaded it.

Truck owners future conversation about the log: Yup Earl, I dragged that bad boy home using only my 1/2 ton truck and a car hauler. I saved negative $6580 on my heating bill burning that log, if you factor in fixing my truck and trailer.

Just guessing from the pictures that it is about 5' in diameter and 12' long makes it about 236 cubic feet of wood. Green trees are anywhere from 45 lbs/cuft to 65 lbs/cuft depending on the type of tree. Makes it anywhere from 11K to 15K or more if the tree was bigger. Are those 3500# axles on the trailer?

Moron.

Can't tell what kind of tree it was, but give it a rough density of 45 lb/ft^3, assume that piece is 5' in diameter and 10' long and cylindrical. That's 8800 lb. and I bet I'm pretty conservative in that estimation. And the way he loaded it it's pretty well ALL tongue weight... HAHAHAHHAAH.

I guess the only reason it didn't just break the frame in half was because the trailer hit the ground!
