Default Possible Offroad Parks For Big Media Shoot, Please Help

We're looking for a Michigan area offroad park that we can use for a shoot for a major media outlet. We're located out of the Wayne County area, so closer is better. We'll be wheeling a vehicle that shouldn't be wheeled, so plenty of bypasses or flat land to get around the worst of it would be helpful.

I'll be throwing up a post in a bit here to scope out possible recovery trucks and drivers to star in this shoot - because we'll need to be pulled out more than a few times. More on that later.

Where are all the parks at?

Thanks,
Andy

So you're going to take pictures of people pulling out your vehicle that doesn't really belong off road?

What do you want? Mud? Hills? Sand? Rocks?

It's two yet-unreleased vehicles that are considered offroaders, but we'll be pushing it beyond that. They're softroaders, really.

We'll be shooting full HD video, so it's a bit bigger of a production than it sounds. It'll be a great time for those who volunteer as recovery trucks and taste of the limelight.

We'd like to get the two aforementioned vehicles stuck a couple of times, but not annoyingly so, so we'll probably stay away from deep sand. No rocks, as these won't do it.

So mud, hills, trails, some shallow water, shallow sand, dry dirt. All of those would work.

sounds like the walmart parking lot, at least the one in town here has a clogged drain and the melting snow piles really make it a challenge

Just wondering how shooting full HD makes it a much bigger production?

As for parks, like said, try Twisted Trails, or even the dunes. I have seen people out there is stinking cavaliers make it up the hills.

You can get HD on everything down to a Sony Webby, but we've got Weapons Grade cameras. Same models used to shoot "Planet Earth" on the Discovery Channel.

your criteria sounds like the mounds to a T.... not sure about filming there unless you just dont advertise you're doing it and then I dont see a problem... the mounds is probably the closest place to you.

The Mounds would be perfect for this, but they don't allow trucks in until May 15th.

I did read a article awhile back about Petersons Offroad guys taking a couple of stock pre-release wranglers up there. I think they were testing diesel wranglers.
