Default ATV Riding the Upper

Looking to head out the end of May for a ATV trip with my dad. All my years in michigan and I've never spent anytime in the UP. Does anyone have any suggestions and where to stay and ride? Any info would be great.

Newberry. Check out the snowmobile trails. A buddy of mine rents a vacation cabin there. Let me know if that's where you end up...

Copper Harbor. You can ride the trails all around the tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula for days, while seeing some of the best scenery in Michigan. A bit of a drive, but well worth it. No crowds at all because of the drive.

I may be biased being a Canuck but I have done quite a bit of ATVing in Michigan.
I would keep driving north till you cross the border. The Candian Shield is much more rugged than anywhere in Michigan and offers far more entertaining trails. Lots of climbs, much more remote trails.
Michigan is beautiful as well but too flat for my liking.

Post up trail maps.

I've ridden many different places and one of the best things about MI trails is that they are well marked and you know what you're going to be riding - other trails I've seen out of state (CA, WA, OR, KY, CO) can have poorly marked directions (or none at all) and often end up in dead-ends.

I'd like to see what trails there are over the border.
