Plenty of .380 ammo over here... Mijers, Gander Mountain, and WalMart, the 9mm and .45 looked a little depleted though.

every online ammo supplier website I have found shows .380 out of stock as well. Guess I might go back to carrying a .45 those are easy to find

The girlfriend just ordered hers....I'm not crazy about having .380 ACP rounds and 9x18 Makarov rounds in the same house, since they are virtually identical, and can chamber in either gun, but the 9x18Mak will blow up the LCP...guess I just have to really pay attention.

I won't have to start for a while though...nobody in a 3-county radius has any .380 ammo...and Wal-Mart said they will no longer be carrying any ammo for handguns...I asked about 44 Mag, the chump behind the counter said "Nope, that's a hangun" I said "I have a Ruger 10/44 carbine...what about that?" He said "We can't sell handgun bullets anymore, if your rifle shoots handgun bullets you're out of luck"...F-ing Wal-Mart....what a joke.

It's the same thing as a Kel-Tec P3AT, but it say's Ruger on it so it's $50 more and "cooler" Small pocket carry .380 semi-auto.

I have shot the Kel-Tec P3AT and that was cool, but I really just liked the Ruger alittle better. I feels like it is better quality.

Dunham's on M-59 and M-53 had .380 ammo a week or so ago. Not sure if they have any now.

I was about 5 minutes away from getting an LCP a couple months ago before the last recall. Walked into Gander who had them in stock and the guy behind the counter got the call from Ruger stopping all sales as I was filling out my paperwork. I ended up picking up a used Kel Tec. Decent little gun but I like the feel of the LCP better also.

Wink

I would have to disagree on the quality remarks. Having SHOT both guns they are very similar in feel. Paying an extra $50 for the Ruger name is the difference.

Both of these guns ran fine last night and my buddy was surprise by the results of his LCP. Both are more than capable for what they are but take them both down and it looks like kel-tech's 7 years was up on their patent!!!
