Question :confused:Is it legal

ok i looked around & could not find the answer to this question so if any of you could tell me that would be - is it legal to sell a clean michigan title without vin plate from a parted out project?

no the jeep is no longer a whole jeep - it lives in many jeeps cuz it was all parted out & i kept the vin plate then lost it during one of a few moves probably in a box that went into the bon fire & the frame was cut up & junked

Not legal and it is a felony to remove a VIN plate.

What good is a paper title to something that doesn't even exist anymore? I don't see a market for it whatever the legality.

Felony in most states.


I believe that in the past I have handed in the title at the SOS so they would remove the vehicle from my ownership, but it has been a while.
