Default 20r ?'s

just bought a 20r motor we checked the compresion before pulling the motor cuz it wouldnt start and had between 60 to 68lbs of comression between all four cylinders, seemed weird to me that all cylinders were that low. tore it apart and found out that the head gasket was blown between the two middle cylinders could low compression be from the head gasket being blown.
