That's been the last 3 months for me.

The passenger side header should be taking shape in the next day or two. The Kevko pan arrives tomorrow so I can work on the belly skid soon too. Mid may I want to tear it down for paint. I doubt that'll happen, maybe 2011. sadly, that's probably realistic.

You might want to consider welding those. I heard those hose clamps tend to come loose over time.

I'm curious how much room is between the obvious close point between the header and the tube frame? How much do you think the engine will move under load with the mounts you have?

I knew the holse clamp comment was coming

It looks close in the picture but there's about 1.5" of clearance to that rail. No worries.

I'm procrastinating....

Had the seats 3/4 of the way mounted and sat in the drivers seat yesterday and I couldnt help but feel like it was crooked.... Took some measurements and it was 1/8" out of square. I really dont feel like redoing the mounts but it has to be done.

On the plus side, I have about 40 hours of design work ahead of me and then most of the little bs I had to do will be taken care of. If anyone is looking for some affordable CNC laser cutting dont be afraid to get a quote from C&M Performance Machine, Mac can do aluminum too!

yes, you can in every instance. If you can "feel" that something is an 1/8" out of square then your too anal. Im pretty sure that any buggy that see's competition will eventually be outta square at leat an 1/8" or more

Just bustin your balls Bryce, lets get our rigs done

The only reason I changed it is because it was 1/8" out of square going the wrong way. As it is, you sit with your feet toward the outside of center, the seat was angled towards the center so it made it feel worse than it was. That and the new trans has a larger barrel by a LOT and the seats had to move up 1/2" to get some mounts on the front inner tabs.

I just bought a box of JB Weld, it should work good enough for who it's for.

I am sick of being the grounding point for the arc, it gets old after 20 or so times. I actually have a burn from where the arc went to my forearm.
