Default SOLD!! M416 off road trailer - excellent shape PRICE DROP to $1300

I picked up a new project trailer to start working on, so it's time for my finished project to go. I have pulled this trailer with my CJ5 and my XJ. It pulls like a dream. It weights less than 500 lbs and can easily be moved 1 handed around the yard or garage. It has made 3 trips up north and off road and has performed perfect. It has about 1,000 miles on it since all the work has been done.

Here is what has been done:

-Frame sandblasted and coated with POR-15 (areas exposed to sunlight where coated with the POR-15 UV protector)
-Box sandblasted. Bottom (underneath) coated with POR-15 and inside the bed has been coated with Herculiner (the camo is a sticker (camoclad) and can be removed if desired). Bed is just dirty in pictures!
-spring over conversion for tire / ground clearance
-utility box mounted on front to hold what ever you want. I currently store tie downs, a marine deep cycle battery, siphon hoses, etc.
-2 jerry cans (1 gas and 1 water) mounted on the back
-the current tires are Toyo ATs (31x10.50x15) mounted on 15x8 rims 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern. These are the same size as my XJ and I have an adapter I use to that I only need to carry one spare.
-Brand new wiring (complete military grade harness)
-Brand new tail lights (military)
-Brand new safety chains
-Brand new reflectors
-Brand new bearings and seals
-Brand new leaf springs and hardware
-The axle has been blasted and coated with POR-15
-Brand new shocks (yes, shocks on a trailer)
-Brand new military 12oz canvas cover (with custom made pvc bow )

I'm also including an adjustable pintle hitch reciever. This tailer has a pintle hitch tongue which is optimum for off road articulation.

Now asking $1300. That is a very good price for a trailer in this condition. A plain, rusty M416 in crappy shape will cost you $700.

Bump for a nice trailer a good price. Considering how much I have into the chassis of my fab-at-home trailer project that still doesn't have sides or a floor...

I hope this goes to a good home!

Thanks. Good luck on your trailer completion. I just started on another one, an old Bantam TC3.

Up on Ebay now. I think I cancel before someone makes a bid.

Buy now or risk spending waaaayyy too much on Ebay!!!

It's 42" wide x 72" long at the bottom of the bed and 49" wide at the top. Take a look at the pictures and you will see what I mean about it being wider at the top than the bottom.

Wow, great trailer!!! If I get a chance to do some spring cleaning and get rid of some things and get some cash, I might consider this.

Ok folks. Price dropped to $1300. You will not find a refurbished M416, M100 or Bantam for anywhere close to this price. I had it sold 10 times on Ebay for way more but knowbody wants to mess with shipping. I'm checking on shipping costs and may relist in a week or two.

I figured I'd give some poor folks in our economically depressed state another chance at a lower price before I relist :)
