Coon killer in Howell, what's the world coming to? Raccoons are just ''cute" rats.

BB guns are for shooting paper tagets and defending your homestead against "Black Bart" and his band of miscrients.

You can buy "rat-shot" for standard .22LR, like a little tiny shot-gun shell, won't go through your house, nice and quiet, and will ruin any varmint's day.

Need to find a decent smooth-bore 22 rifle.

I think I have the air rifle power issue solved - I need to find a chronograph to do some baseline testing before modifying a few things.

x2 i have some.. they make just a lil (pop) noise instead of the big bang... use em for pests around the house and the occasional meal that wonders into the yard

My neighboy sets traps along his woods to try and keep raccoons from making it to his house. He had a family in it at one time. Well, apparently he caught one of my other neighbors cats

He brought it by my house today when he seen me out working on the truck. Neither of us knew who's it was, so we just let it go there. He opened the door but he was facing the wrong way, so I reached in and gave him a few jabs. He turned around to look, and as soon as he seen the gate was open, that fucker burst out of that cage faster than I've ever seen a cat run before We found out it was the guy's across the street.

I think with the different pellets I have been using, headshots on coons might dispatch them a little faster...so, game on. I really need to get a chronograph to do some modifications on my springer.

Steveo, my vagina only gets moist for you, son.

Could buy a new pellet gun. My Gamo shoots (according to Gamo) 1200fps .177 single pump/shot. Sounds like a .22 lr when it goes off.

"Starvation is cheap," he says as he prepares an afternoon lunch of barbecue coon and red pop at his west side home.

I use the CB's for barn pest control. Very quiet out of a long barrel .22

Short Range Pest Control
We have four loads that are great for this need. We make two reduced velocity loads, 22 CB Short and 22 CB Long. Both are loaded with a 29 grain lead bullet at under 750 feet/sec . They are accurate and quiet. The longer 22 Long is for repeating firearms that cannot feed a 22 Short. Neither have enough velocity to function stock semi-automatic firearms, but they can be hand-cycled. CCI CB is fun in a box!
Want to turn your rifle or handgun into a short-range shotgun? We make 22 LR Shotshells and 22WMR Maxi-Mag Shotshells. Small lead pellets are contained in a plastic capsule. Shotshells are good for small, hard-to-hit targets within 15 feet. The spin induced by rifled gun barrels puts this limit on effective range. We load these rounds down to around 1000 ft/sec to minimize the spin degradation of the pattern. This lower velocity means shotshells have to be hand-fed in semi-automatic firearms

you might also try 17hmr. I saw a groundhog that a guy shot in the head @80 yds.....bullet went in but did not come out. Don't know if that would work @ 3 yds lol

Over-inflated rating - you might be lucky to get 1200 FPS with their "PBA" ammo that weighs around 5 grains. I have that same "powerplant" in my wife's Gamo Hunter pro - but in .177, the energy is limited.

I have some surprises for the critters coming soon.
