Default That was a Brisk ride

Me and My roommate where bored, so we decided to go out for a ride, we ended up riding like 10 miles to get a beer at a bar. It was fun to see the peoples faces when we walked into the bar with helmets and it was 28 degrees.

A month or so ago I saw a guy on a new BMW sport bike doing 80 down 275 in 25 weather when there was still snow on the ground; backpack, saddle pack, and all. Saw him going north.....and then 6 hours later, he passed me again going south.

For some reason, it made me want to get a sport bike really bad.

My best ever was when I rode to work it was like 35 and when I left work it started snowing and was about 25 degrees out, It was a little scary to drive 20 miles on a sportbike in the snow.

A ninja 500 isn't a sport bike. My gf rides one. But yeah I rode around 11 am today and it was crazy cold. I couldn't imagine hitting 120 on the f4 tonight

I like my Ninja, I owned a CBR600f3 for a while, and I am just to stupid on it, really surprised I didn't get into any trouble with it. The 500 is fast enough to get me in trouble, but slow enough to keep me out of constant trouble. 0-60 in under 4 seconds, 1/4 mile in under 13, top speed of 135 is plenty for me, Guess I'm getting old.

Last year I rode my bike until mid November. I put it away when I rode home at midnight in an inch of snow. The year before that I put it away in mid December when I rode it home in an inch of snow. I guess riding home in an inch of snow is my criteria for putting my bike away for the Winter.

I work 4pm-midnight and I've ridden my bike to and from work 23 times since Feb. 9th this year. Today is my 8th day riding to work in a row. The coldest night was 13 degrees out when I left for home. Oh, and my ride is a 2000 Victory V92SC...no windshield. Hey, it's Michigan, if you expect to put miles on your bike you are going to be riding in the cold.

Here is a pic of my last ride homw in 2007:

I got my Bike running, but I am not riding until it is over 50*. I may be a pussy, and don't put a million miles a year on my bike. But I don't care, I ride for fun and riding cold is not fun.
