Default Hot air balloon rides!!!

My grandpa owns a small company (four seasons balloon company) The balloon is called "cloud nine" and looks like this

and here are a few more pics

He mainly stays in the northern battle creek area but he might travel a little ways i dont know, you would have to call and ask. He has been a pilot for over 25 years and has a commercial license. He is also insured and everything. (which is the law i believe)

For those that have never been, it is VERY fun. Not really scary at all because your moving slow but its just cool to see all the wildlife and stuff.

Price as of now is
175 for one person
350 for two

Thats for a ride lasting around a hour, maybe a little more depending on if there is a place to land.
Which i know is alot but it costs him ALOT. Between propane, insurance and wear and tear on the balloon i doubt he breaks even. As much as he hates it, prices maybe go up at any time. Call around, you wont find anyone cheaper.

Anyways, PM me if you are interested and ill give you his phone number. You can call and he can answer any questions you might have. Even if you are just thinking about it and want to call and ask some questions he wont mind at all. (He gets alot of those calls)

The wife and I got to go on a hot air balloon ride late last summer. It was like nothing else I had ever done. It was a bit unnerving for about the first minute as we were lifting off. I kept looking at the tiny strings holding the basket and asking myself what in the world I was thinking getting in this thing. After that, it was beautiful! If you can swing the cost, go for it.

He took my girlfriend and I a couple weeks ago. I have helped them before but this was my first time actually riding. I don't like heights all the much and like ridin dirty said, it just doesn't look like there is much holding it together but there really is.

My yard and their friends balloon...

Pretty much the only thing around my house, farms and trees...

Friends balloon...

We saw a ton of deer and saw some old abandoned cars in the trees. It was a lot more fun then I thought it would be.

2 people and depending on how big they are maybe 1 if its hot out. but it should be cool enough for the rest of the year that he will have no problem with 2. Thats mainly a issue with 2 big people in mid summer.

Honestly, he could probaly take 3 people with no problem, however, his insurance will not allow it, they are pretty strict about stuff, i guess with good reason, it is a aircraft.

If it is, that would be a great deal. I have done this, and I am looking forward to doing it again.
