so this may sound dumb but it doesnt run? it needs to be rebuilt after it is bought? I am looking for motor but I can rebuild the one I got, I want one that works? Does this one?

No!! this is for the short block (from the heads down) But you could NOT rebuild a motor with these part for less than 3000.00

Why not throw a set of bearings in it and sell it for $1500 as a runner?

As simple as it is most people are afraid to put bearing in.

2X If the bearings are gone does the crank need to be turned again? Oil pump gone too. sounds scary, If it was a Ford OK

Just simply don't have the time at the moment to fix a motor I do not need, I'm knee deep in the diesel conversion. My Priority one is getting the burb done for the summer and I do not think that if I throw a set of bearing in it I will sell it any faster.. And no the crank does not need to be turned and the oil pump is still good.
