Default 400ex Camshaft journals questions??

I dropped a valve on my '04 400ex last weekend, I pulled the top end apart and have a couple of questions.

1) The camshaft and rockers operating the exhaust valve on the drivers side are jacked up - I think it might be a lubrication issue. Is oil supplied to the cylinder head on both sides of the engine, or just one??

2) There appears to be a small amount of aluminum shavings built up on the side of the camshaft rotation - There are no bearings supporting the middle of the camshaft, only at either end. Therefore, is this normal? Can I re-use the head?

Does anyone know answers to these??

there should be oil port on both sides of the head IIRC however 9 cant remember if it is independant of eachother or if it goes to one side and passes across to the otherside ...

i would mic. it and see if it is within spec..
i f you do reuse it i would drop the head in a solvant pan and soak it for a day ot 2..either way if you find a used one or reuse yours soak the hell outa it and blow it out

ebay has tones of them lol
