5-800 would be going rate for a ski like this last I was looking (without a trailer), not because of condition but because you can't get many new parts anymore, that and stand ups are a dime a dozen as they are not as desireable. Though used parts you may be able to find if you know where to look.

Looks like a good deal in here, but IMO when you set the idle so it stalls instead of fixing a 5.00 kill switch I worry what else may be rigged, could it be adjusted when looked at where it will not stall and idle nice? I would believe 650 to be a more fair deal, sight unseen anyway.

If I didnt have my wave runner I was trying to get running so I could sell It, I would consider this, but not for 1k IMO

It would smoke most 650's. And it handles better that any sx, 750 or 650.

I had a 650sx with a coffman's pipe, 44mm carb, 9/17 prop and a milled head. There was a guy on sand lake in the irish hills that had one that I would ride with. On take off he would usually pull ahead, I barely had him on top speed.

I got sick of sit-downs about 6 years ago. After learning how to ride a stand-up and getting good at it, I could care less about anything with a seat. You just get bored too easily.

If you put it on eBay, You'd get a grand, easily.

any interest in trade for a bunch of performance 650 parts.

4 mill stroker crank
big bore cylinder w mild port job, basically just enough to get the port timing right.
dual 38's
2 stock heads, and a west coast head all 3 cut for the extra piston travel, so you dont need a spacer plate
extra cases, stator, starter
