XJ drivetrain into a YJ

I'm installing the motor and trans out of a xj in carberated yj . Any help would be appreciated.

anything can be done if you have the skills or money. I think the transfercase are clocked different on a yj then xjs also you'll need the computer and wiring to change from a carb to efi

Don't forget the Transmission control module that you will need on the passenger side behind the dash.

Did a search on pirate and there was a guy that said alldatadiy.com helped alot with the wiring end of it. He said that there was 8 wires that needed to be spliced.

Motor and trany Mounted xj wiring put in place of all yj wiring now the fun part of trying to hook it up to the yj insturments. Have to switch gas tank and fuel lines after that ready to attempt ignition . Oh yeah shorten driveshaft.
