yup. *lost money* checks ive cashed, they said, that didnt, making me close down my account, and start a new one, because *they accidentally* sent my debit card to another customer. 6 months AFTER i already had my debit card. they are worthless. so i closed down my account, and started a new one at keystone.

yes, especially if you don't have tons of money. they always find ways to get fee's out of you.

i will be changing soon.

their online banking and ability to send checks for free is pretty nice, especially since i don't have paypal, and most people are OK with those as an alternative to money orders because you have to have $$ for the bank to send it

i assume other bnks have this?

x2

All my business accounts are with 53. Those people bend over backwards to help me. Even if it means spending a week putting stuff together for my accountant.

Have had them for a long time now.

I am neutral on them, they have never screwed anything up, but back in day when I was more often closer to 0 in my account, I got screwed a few times on how they pull out payments. For a while there if your available balance goes negative (even if your actual balance stays positive) they were pulling out overdraft fees.

I fought that for a while and finally opened a Master Card account with overdraft protection to take care of it.

Customer service has usually reversed fees for me if I call and ask nice.

I used to work for them. Every day someone was in the branch complaining. My favorite was the guy singing, you're the only bank I'll never need.

Yes.

Check into your local credit union. If you ever withdraw ATM, you have to be used to fees or track down another CU atm.

Try Independent Bank if you have one close, easy online transactions, banks are open 7 days a week, little to no fees.

I am with MSU Credit Union and they have free bill pay. You can send checks to whoever you want for free.
