I'm definately not using the vents that are behind the doors of the comanche I never liked them on a two door and I surely don't on a four door. I think I want to try and make the back doors longer then stock so the seat will still be inside but I'm not sure about having custom glass that sounds expensive.

good luck, it should turn out looking good, its what i was going to do with mine, but i ended up just building the mj instead. I would bob it after the rear wheel wells, just to get some length out of it.

I got the back of the Comanche cut off now. It is raining and the driveway is full of cars otherwise I would have pushed the Cherokee in the garage and started cutting it apart. My plan is to put tubing inside the frame rails and bolt it from the outside. Possibly I'll use the same bolts to plate the outside as well. Just to make sure that the whole thing is strong enough and won't buckle I will probably put a cage in it that exits the back of the cab and ties into the bed.

I got the Comanche cab almost completely gutted. I have to take the fenders off still but then I'm putting it on the trailer and haulin it away.
