well head is leaking bad so i got to pull that f**king thing again put new head gasket and check to see if its warped and hope that solves the problem

before you go doing all that dont forget that when i put the headers on it i had trouble with coolant leaking from the front and rear header bolts, they lead to water jackets. pipe tape the shit out of them or just loctite some studs back in.

make sure its a head gasket before you pull it apart, water in the oil or oil in the water or lots of white smoke if not then its not a head gasket

suprisingly the headers didnt leak at all... its shooting water right out the back side of the head gasket at the firewall

got it all taken apart went to order the head gasket and its cheaper to order the whole gasket set again then just the head gaskets but i dont want the whole set again

alright im gona be doing the cab swap in the next week or two and ive run into a problem with the wire harness where it goes throught the firewall here

inside the cab


and under the hood


my question is does that come apart or how do i get it out?

right in the center of the harness on the engine side there is a bolt that runs through then its stuck together like a mother fucker but. pull the bolt and wiggle the shit out of it

x2 and when you put it back together put some grease or somthing to keep moisture out of it and also tape it up!

a little update well finally swapped the cabs by myself and some 2x4's lol suprisingly easier then i thought it was gona be with just me. sorry for the shitty cell pics and my friend that showed up once i got the cab on. wish i woulda got more pics of the rigging i did with the 2x4's i used to get it off and back on the frame but didnt have much time since it was just me.

after i got rusted cab off



once new cab was kinda on with boards still under it(and goofy friend)



and cab on and truck in garage

well i installed the body lift on the cab and front end got some of it put back together... started to try and unbolt the bed to put body lift on and what a suprise snapped almost everybolt... so they are all stuck in the bed any one have this before and what did you do pull bed and attempt to drill them out? all ideas welcome
