The best way is to call skyjacker and tell them what you want to do. Then call the others and do the same. Ask them what tires you can run, and if you can run your factory drive safts, shocks, brake lines, pitman arm. Is the lift all spring or spring and block. Jest check on what you buying a $500 kit can cost you $1500 some times.

That kit is not realy worth the $$ they are asking for it. It doesn't have shocks, steering corrections, or extended brake hoses. If you buy this kit plan on about $150 - $200 for shocks, about $170 to correct the steering geometry, and $50 - $125 for brake hoses. If you go to the link you posted and scroll down to where it shows "Items you May need" and add those to your overall price.

You will be far better off buying a COMPLETE lift kit for your truck and forget the nickel and dime piece together lifts. I tried this on my 79 f250 because I got part of a lift kit for next to free. By the time I am done with a 7" lift I could've bought a brand new complete 6" lift for the same money.

almost any lift you buy isnt going to come with the steering corrections. ive took the steering box off my truck cuz im going hydraulic is got the $100 skyjacker drop pitman are on it you can have the box and all for $75. and if youve got some fab skill (which you dont need much) chevy leaf springs measure up all the same other than bolt diamiter i just put a set off bds 8" on my dodge but its a lot to right call me and ill talk your ear off lol
