Default steering box crash

this last weekend i was wheeling and i hit a rut with the front drivers side tire a litter faster and harder than i should have. its a 82 chevy 1 ton. and now it will just barely steer past straight to the right, and turn real sharp to the left. i havent tore into it yet, but i pretty shure its in the gear box. any body think its fixable or think the box is junk? it started leaking fluid pretty badly out the bottom seal right after it happened.
