ok i bought my truck and i have heard that certain year chevy lift springs will fit dodges of certain years anyone know what years? oh for an 1983 ram

I would say 20 years ago they did but the market for big lifts on that old of a truck is pretty well dried up.

Deaver or Alcan can make customs spring packs for a lillte more $ than a "lift kit" and they have killer flex and superior quality.

i have a 84 ram and i found out chevy springs will bolt into the dodge truck. there is a 12" kit for chevys you can use.

thanks for the info guys. now i see alot of lift kits for ramchargers i think they would be the same for the ram as long as its for the same years im a right??

i got a 88 i bought a 5.5 inch lift and made the rest im clearing 40's those old trucks are super easy to get big with bein leaf sprung let me kno if you need any ideas i can show you mine. i went with superlift i think they also have an 8 inch lift they sell mine is about 10 inches of lift now
