Default Anyone use a Miller mig welder with Auto set?

Looking for some feed back on the Miller auto set. Like or dislike?

i think the 140 is the same size, mine came with a cart and all. i think i can still get a discount ill have to check

It broke

I really want a 251/252 but the DVI did 90% of everything I did in a single pass. And the 211 would free up some space which would be nice.

i like the lincon 180 mig pack
works great
you can get away with 0.45 if u keep your whip straight. and rollers ofcourse.

No, that was a great welder. I got my money's worth out of it for sure. Liked it alot that is why I am considering the 211 as it is pretty much the same setup (30% duty cycle to the DVI's 40%) but in a nice small case. Makes the dual voltage a real plus as it is much more portable.

IMO Auto set is useless, if you know how to set up the welder correctly. FWIW I'm looking into the same, the 211. The 180 would be ok but 31 more amps and the MVP would be a plus.

i havent used the auto-set, but it looks stupid to me. it appears to just set you in the right range so you can get it set close. ill find out soon though. im ordering a 211 this week. one big advantage to the 211 over the bigger welders is that you can run the cheap spool gun if you need aluminum capability, but wont use it all the time.

i guess it looks like a few of us will have new 211's here shortly, haha
