Default Buyer be where

I have been a member for a long time i read a lot of posts but i dont make many . But i think you shoud know what happend to me. A friend told me about the Snowmobile Depot in midland so i went there to buy some carbids for my sled and a spare drive belt $131.77 cash. went home put the carbids on great opend the hood i had a brand new spair belt I for got i bout last year .So three day later i called them to return it $69.95 belt they said no returns how about credit for other parts i was looking for a hich for the sled he said yes i have one but i will have to charge you 20% re stock on the belt.20% to turn around and hange it back on the wall! This is after i was going to buy somthing else. So please doint buy from them. But if you fond your self there ask about the sign that reads dont sell aney part to vince corbat.

Hate to say it, but a lot of shops charge a restocking fee as a general rule. Don't see where this is that big a deal. Sucks but it is a normal business practice.

That's pretty crappy. Is their return policy listed in the store?

If it was a special order, I can see a restocking fee. If they stock it, that's just crappy business.

Don't most specialty stores charge a restocking fee? I think it sucks that they wouldn't give you full store credit but I don't think anyone can really be all that surpised. Plus it's a sled. Eventually, you will need that belt.

You can never have too many good spare belts lying around.



Use this as a good excuse to practice your hole shots. Once the old belt is nice ang glazed, slap in that new one!

next time your looking for a new sled go there check out there selection. then tell the sales man why your going down the street and spend 10k on a new sled. i hope he likes the 70 bucks he got from ya then!
