Priced low because currently vehicle will not crank with the key. Perfect opportunity for a mechanically inclined GL member who wants an easy score.

The back story is: The wife was out shopping and when she tried tried to start it it was dead. It was towed to Northwest Service Center and they said they could bypass the starter and get it to start but the computer might be bad so we should take it to a dealer because they didn't have the gear to diagnose it.

Dealer said it might be the computer but wanted way too much money. Plus they seemed like they were guessing instead of having diagnosed it themselves. I didn't want their experimenting done via our dime so we brought it home and replaced the computer and got it to start..... but not every time the key is turned. Every so often we attempt to start it with the key to move it around in the driveway and sometimes it will fire up. When it starts it will stay running until turned off so it most likely could be driven from here to a new owners place if the ignition were bypassed. It could be a simple $45 ignition switch. It could be a battery. It could be a loose ground wire. Bottom line is, I don't care and I'm not willing to go any further with working on it until spring/summer.
