Those plans have been around awhile. Ironman has that setup and it uses (at least his does) pro tool dies. The actual bender frames are not that expensive, its the dies that you will still need to buy. They range from 180-450 for each size. But the bender does work decent.

My ProTools is a lot sloppier than I'd like too, so that's not really the solution. I've known people to have great luck with that style bender.....I wouldn't mind having one, but my ProTools does the job just fine too.

i just put one in the misc for sale section
with steel prices so high still i would be willing to bet it would be cheaper to buy one new or used rather than build one unless you had the steel already

I built four of those Trikes ones. Mine is still in my garage without a die. It went together OK, but I would change a few things. Head over to Pirate4x4 and search for this bender, check out the mods and maybe tweak a few things when you build it.

I used the air/hydraulic one, but my compressor at home is too small to run it (small pancake).

another thing to remeber is to have ram on hand when building so you can chage holes in arms as you go some rams vary
