Default Local ORV Park needs your letters of support by Dec.20th

Local ORV Park Needs Your Help before Dec. 20, 2005
Read up for more info here:

The short version - a new local ORV park is trying to convince the County to let them keep operating as a business, despite some opposition by an adjacent landowner.

I would ask that anyone interesting in helping please send an email to Don Nelson who has stated he will forward all comments on to the Commissioners in charge of making the decisions.

PLEASE - if you send an email, I stress these points (and you may stress them in your email as well, in your own words):

1. Our sport is a FAMILY oriented sport
2. If you have been to Wooly's, or would go to Wooly's - let them know how far you are willing to travel (your home state) and an estimate of the kind of money you generally spend in the community where ORV areas are located (lodging, fuel, food, entertainment, etc.).
3. ORV areas are an area for safe, family, fun - not a palce for drunks and druggies. We don't tolerate it, and neither does an ORV park.
4. 4. If you are part of a club or organization - let them know you are not alone, you are part of an organized community of likeminded people who WANT to patronize businesses like Wooly's, and spend your time in Marshall County. Let them know you will be spreading the word that Marshall County wants off roaders to come there.

Don has been assisting the club in helping them work through this process, so be kind, friendly, and POSITIVE in your email!
