Default oil pressure switch on a 2001 f-150

could anyone tell me where the oil pressure sensor/switch is on a 2001 f-150 with a 5.4. im assuming its probably in the oil filter area? what is the easiest way to get to it? is it going to drain out oil if i pull it? woke up this morning with my oil pressure jumping all over the place so didn't go to class and walked up to the parts store to get the oil pressure switch. didn't feel like taking a chance and blow the motor.

went to go take my jeep with just a bikini top and freeze my ass off but of course that had to have a bad sensor and was running rough as shit.

thanks

Ty

It is near the oil filter, get to it from underneath, some oil will come out but not a ton.

My van is doing the same thing. I haven't decided if I'll take it somewhere or do it myself. I was hoping the weather would warm up so I could take a look at it.
