Default custom front and or rear bumper

im still looking for someone around the grand rapids(or somewhat close to) area that is willing to fab up a front or rear bumper for a GMC envoy or trailblazer. Looking for a good offroad setup and might now of a few other people that might want them if the price and quality is right. There is only 1 other company that i know of that offers a after market bumper and they have made a killing on it for the short time its been out. http://www.kenmtnac.com/TrailBlzr.html they make a dessent product but there customer service and what not sucks from what ive herd. Not to mention we are looking for a rear bumper also which no one offers right now. So if any of you have a gifted and creative mind out there hit me up. The Envoy and trailblazer market is looking for this kind of stuff. Also im willing to use my Envoy as a dummy vehicle for mock ups and what not. If you interested e-mail me and randy_army@yahoo.com my name is Randy

That bumper design looks good, but that upper tube is hideous!

x2. That bumper took some nice fabrication, then it looks like they just slapped a trampoline leg onto it.

Using trampoline parts must make people think they are "going green" or something

Yeah i agree that the upper tube needs a different design, but its a optional part. Im just looking for some backyard fab. design bumper that looks decent and can take a beating plus some sort of skid plate that will cover the bottom of my radiator so this doesnt happen again

here is one with a toyota FJ Cruiser bumper.

WOW, it sheared the W/P right off the block? Lucky that was the extent of the engine damage-- you're going to want a design that attaches at two extra points as far back on the rails as you can realistically go to give extra vertical support for these "face-plant" incidents...

if you havent done so already, id recommend taking the pic and any other info youve gathered and getting it quoted at a shop or two. youll get a feel for whats involved and its impact on cost. making "one" of anything for the first time is the slowest and most costly for everyone involved. on the one hand, anything is possible with the right budget, on the other; id say youll get what you pay for in terms of quality, design, etc.

your best bet would seem to be someone who's already "tooled" for similar products. ie already doing bumpers for other brands -

good luck

yeah i pretty much have a somewhat idea of what i want and its going to involve the skid plate connecting to the bumper. what im looking for doesnt need to be dealer quality but i would like it to look good and be functional. I'm willing to put in my personal labor weather its grinding, sanding, fetchin a beer or a reach around lol. Hopfully i can get some ideas from frdtrckmnrich when i give him a call or meet up.
