Salt on apples whenever possible - likewise any type of melon.

Occasionally on pears - if they're good hard ones.

Not on bananas, citrus, grapes, peaches, etc...

cantalope, watermellon, or any mellon for the most part and cucumber needs salt and peper apples are ok with it but I would rater eat them plain or with Peanut butter

Salt on a not so good apple does it well for flavor....

I would never salt a Honey Crisp or Pink Lady however.

I have never heard of salt on a grapefruit but I will try it. I love grapefruit, usually with just a touch of sugar.

I do also put salt on watermelon.

That is disgusting but my grandma used to do it. I think she used to eat apples with a salt shaker. I salt nothing so if i get too much salt on anything it burns my mouth.
