That mud might save you... You'll still have frozen in by tomorrow, but chances are that what does freeze won't be too thick. Still going to suck getting that out.

If you could get back in there, and pack around the vehicles with a couple bales of straw, it will help it not freeze so bad. BTDT. - Ed

Think I saw somewhere that he stated winch motor was fried. Which would make the winch more of an anchor than a winch.

Damn guys, that looks bad....not really....I just went to get my ORV pass but due to me having an out of state license th damn store couldnt sell me one....

I am going to be up around 0700 tomorrow and could be up there by 0830 or so to pick you guys up...

a quick question though, I have a H1 that is wide as heck and I want to make sure I can get up to your location. I have never been to the trails up there.

Hope it dosen't freeze too bad....
I am sure a little wheel spin will warm up the ground!

the yota has solid bumpers. Which means if anything the truck is going to split in half at the cab. Thats my problem not yours. The XJ has a good spots, well as good as they get for a unibody.

Thats my jeep stuck, the only tire touching ground is the left rear. We were going to get another jeep unstuck when this one went right through ice.

There is a decent clearing to get out from the front but a heavier truck will be needed, another cherokee tried but it didn't move me at all.

And the winch doesn't work, it died pulling out joel216 when he had the jeep in his avatar

The one thing saving me is that its not really in water so its not going to frozen to the ground
