Default Propane tank question

Anyone know if the outlet size is the same on a 500lb. tank as a 100lb. tank?

I'm not able to get propane delivered to my cabin with the road in the condition it's in and I would like to unhook the big tank and just use a 100lb. tank until I can get the road cleared.

yes. might be different on different tanks, but we use 100 lb and 500 lb tanks on some of our flares.

Yes, I think thats what I ment.

The big "pig" that most places use.

And a tall welding type tank.

No. You're going to need piping to transition from the 100# tank to the regulator. You "should" be able to get everything you need from Home depot or Lowes.

Stan, they are the same. I have a 20 pounder hooked to the house, as the big tank is empty, and the only thing on propane is the cookstove.

They should be the same, at least they are here. We didn't need anything but a wrench to hook up the 100lb tank in place of the 500gal.

Stan,

Who are you using up there? I have had Blue Flame for about 3 years now and I always wait until the largest snow or coldest weather to order my refill. I have to get something for the $2.49 they are charging me.

The just delivered it last week. My place is back aways from 72 and 489
