Default Gas Chip for 2005 Expedition 5.4l

My parents just bought a 2005 Expedition with the 5.4l and are looking to purchase a gas chip. What kind of mileage gains can they expect. They are looking to get the superchips flashpaq programmer here. It is the first one, the red one.

no one has any input on gas chips? I'm just wondering what kind of gains my parents can expect on their gas motor.

I did, but it didn't really improve the mpg as much as I thought it would. It could be my driving style, but I'm not sure. It's nice for towing and power. I have a superchips power programmer/diagnostic tool. It adds noticeable power, but keep in mind, its nothing like chipping a diesel.

i had a 97 5.4 f150 i put the programmer on and i sold it after a month it didn't seem to do anything but make me be able to change shift points i didn't notice any extra power or mpg increase
on my 7.3 though its a whole different ball game notice mileage and hp gains (150)

i would tell your parents to save their money
