Very sorry for your loss. Turning to God at times like this can ease some of the pain and knowing you will someday see you dad again. Hang in there.

Prayers for strength to you & your family in this difficult time.
Talking about your loss with friends, and especially family will ease some of the pain.
Hang in there.

My thoughts exactly. I'm sitting at my parents' house right now watching my mom slowly deteriorate. The hospice nurses gave her roughly a week to ten days to go. I would take a quick, unexpected, yet untimely death over this.

Dude, I am very sorry for your loss of your dad. I can almost relate.

So sorry to hear about this, my family will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. I lost my mom to cancer nearly 10 years ago, and I remember the days following her death being chaotic and extremely exhausting. Stay close to your family during this time, you will all need each other.

Damn. That really sucks. I was just going over Patient Advocate forms and where all the important papers are at my mom's house, she's going in for surgery in a week..... it was a surreal moment talking about funeral arrangements and such....

I'm actually tearing up typing this. Be strong, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am sorry for your loss. You need to take it one day at a time. We just got done with my brother in-laws funeral. The same as you unexpected and sudden. The best advice I can give is take it easy be there for your family and do not forget to take care of yourself also. When it seems to much for you just take a break and take your time and step back for a moment or two. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk.
