It cant happen fast enough IMO. Can you imagine trailriding with no exhaust, barely and sound and all the torque you could want from 0 rpm at the wheels?

How about hub motors with built-in steering? No steering box, axles, drive shafts.

I bet people said this about the Model T too. I think the biggest problem would be the mix of water, mud, and massive amounts of electricity.
