I would not do a mini spool on anything driven on the street. The rears will be full locked at all times and will turn like crap. Stick with some kind of limited slip

Im pissed.

I did passenger side add a leaf first. bottom spring was broken. No big deal,I took the stock one off the factory leaf pack.

Drivers side all four leafs under the main were broke.

Reason Im pissed is I just sold my backup car Saturday so the B2 is my only driveable vehicle until I get my trans rebuilt in my Ranger.

So now I dont know if I should just pull all five leafs off the stock spring and add my add a leaf and hope it matches the other side or some how find another car to drive until I can get new Duff springs here.

OK, I pray I made the right choice!!

Duff wanted 536.00 shipped to me with a Monday drop for the same 3" springs I had.

Called a dozen different places and ended up at Summitracing.

I ordered Skyjacker FR34s 2"-4" SOft Rides for 421.00 shipped to my door and I will have them tomorrow.

Skyjacker list these springs for Rangers ,Broncos and F150's. Says on a full size they are good for 2" and on the smaller RBV they are good for 4"

Hopefully with my Belltech shackles they wont be too much lift.Strangely Summit list them as only 1.5-2" lift for RBV.?.

I got my new springs in today.Much better! Skyjacker Softrides 4" lift. I also removed the rear swaybar. The top of the rear fenders pior to new springs were at 35.5" on the passenger side and 35" for the drivers side. After new springs it now is 39" on both sides.New springs even had pinion wedges built on to them, vibration is now gone.

Now I need to get some 5" Jeep XJ front coils and replace my new front dual shocks with a set of longer travel Rancho shocks. I will have my new 4.56 gears for my two new axles by the weekend!

Interesting day so far.

Getting a pan off these sux. Pulled radiator, starter, upper intake and dizzy cap. Lifted motor as high as it would go and slid pan out the front side. Found some interesting things. Throttlebody had another small vac port that was uncapped I never caught before, oil pan has been off before, gasket was split and broken in a dozen places and old sealer was gooped everywhere. Inside of pan was spotless so my thoughts of a plugged pickup screen were shot down and now Im praying my problem is in the old pump and that my new pump will fix my ticking issue over 3000 rpm.
I found both motor mounts were never tightened back up after the pan was replaced last time, explains my clunk when I hit the gas.It also looks like one of the trans lines was crushed by the motor mount when the motor was lowered back down last time, how the trans has worked so well like this I have no idea!

And somehow all this time I have never looked at any of the tune up items until now. Cap and rotor are the worst I have ever seen and I cant believe it runs as good as it did! I got all new plugs, cap, rotor and wires for it along with some real aftermarket oil and water gauges.

Seen that both my bodymounts under the core support are rusted thru and the body is sagging.I can lift the body up a good inch by hand.

I also found some used 4.5" Skyjacker Softride XJ coils and my 4.56 gears should be here shortly.I also picked up another 8.8 out of a 91 Ex,now I need to decide which 8.8 is getting used in the B2 and the other will go in my drag Ranger project.

Got new oil pan,oil pump all done. I put some real gauges in the truck and to my surprize this thing still has 60psi of oil pressure. This must be a reman motor because I find it hard to believe it has 170k on as clean as this motor is inside. Inside of oil pan was spotless also.

I replaced the plugs,wires,cap-n-rotor and replaced the smashed trans line. And UPS man just dropped off my 4.56 gears and drop pitman arm.

Im going to try one trip to the Mounds on my stock gears{3.73} and open front to see how it does, then while they are closed for the spring I will add my new axles and gears.

I still have my stock shaft for now. Once I get my 8.8 in it I will see which shaft will work best,I have a front and rear shaft from a 91 Explorer to test fit.

I took a couple pix of my new gauges.

I went playin around at a local spot yesterday and the truck worked great. The tires made a big difference!

Well I made it up to the Mounds yesterday with a bunch of friends and had a blast! Truck worked way better than I was expecting. This thing the way it sits now would wheel over top of my 99 Ranger and it was no mall crawler either.

My 18 year old son came with me for his first time ever wheelin and he did great and had a great time also. He learned how to recover with straps and winches,he drove the two easy rock courses and went about 1/3 into the hard one before he wanted off when he leaned it over on three wheels. He jumped out to help two complete strangers who were stuck and didnt bitch or complain one time. I was a proud man yesterday.

Bronco amazed me and everyone I was wheelin with, matter of fact only two guys with pretty serious SAS Rangers would even follow me around and hit everything I hit.My buddy broke thru the ice with his Ranger on 37's and it took me and another Ranger to winch him out together. It was pointless but I tried snatching him out with my truck first but it was pointless and I really only wanted to see how my rear bumper would hold up....it held up great.

The stock driveshaft and 7.5 made it home in one piece also
