nice looking b2 but watch your tire carrier where it bolts to the body they like to rust there and fall off

I got the new rear bumper on today and I couldnt be happier. Had to cut off the mounting brackets and ended up having to modify the Bronco brackets to fit the bumper, much stronger than what it had. I added a gusset to the reciever and made a mount for my plate to go inside the spare tire.

My tailpipe looks like crap now so I cut a hole in the body and will be making a new tail in the morning that will go over top the leaf spring and exit out the hole in the fender. I will rivet a nice panel over the square hole once the tail is in place.

Got my new tailpipe made yesterday and it turned out great, just need to finish a piece of diamond plate that will cover the square hole.

Took a few pix outside,I love the way the bumper turned out!

Should have the front done tomorrow.

Here is a better shot of the exhaust all done. Now my tailpipe is safe from those pesky parking blocks at the mall!

Spring can compress all the way to the bumpstop and the pipe will still clear.

Some bad news tonite tho....truck was inside for about 8hrs today and it leaked 1/2 quart of oil on the floor. Oil pan is shot! My JB Weld fix only lasted a couple weeks. Looks like on Sunday I will be pulling the motor to replace the pan and pump.

I started on my winch mount today, unfortunately a bad headache slowed me down pretty good today. I still need to add more plate and gussets to it. My tube bumper will need to be cut up and reworked where the skid plate mounts because it wont clear my steering .

Please feel free to comment on my progress, Im always lookin for input from other people.

Looks good, glad it wasn't your flex plate that was broken. Mine broke 3 before I gave up and sold it. Hope you have better luck than i did. Mine was a money pit.

Well if all goes as planned mine will have a 4.0 and a c4 trans before summer and I have a 8.8 waiting to replace my 7.5 so it should be a pretty solid rig after all that is done.

Yes a D35 with 3.73's. I have a Aussie locker on the bench for it also.I got rid of the auto hubs and converted to Ranger manuals with D44 locking nuts.

My winch mount is all done also! Going out in the morning to do some wheelin and see how she does. I bought a new Optima RedTop today since the winch is on now.I replaced all my trans cooler lines also since they were leaking as well.
