Default That time of year.

Whelp, the leaves are dying, the grass is dying, the coat came back out, and I've already jumpstarted my first car for the season.

HAPPY FALL!!!

Oh, by the way...

The best thing that I learned from my Technical Service Engineering job...Mechanix gloves are the ultimate in cold weather hand protection...until you get them wet...then they suck.

Did it not snow by you or something? Because there's a couple inches of snow in Big Rapids, and it's definately not looking like fall here.

We got .0000043 inches of snow...which is just enough to make a few quarter-sized patches on the grass.

It isn't winter yet is it?

I hear that... I used to drive a plow truck for a landscape company... those things took a beating. Our two maintenance guys were working 40 hours+ just to keep them running, and usually were falling behind.

Heck, once we had a guy who did an hour hour stint(75 miles driving) in a 5 yard loader with a 11' plow, because all the other trucks were broke..

My big thing is keeping them deiced . after a few hours of running in deep snow it builds up on controls and shit starts sticking . Air brakes like to freeze up when there parked hot and snow blows in on the lineings .

Last week we have been on heavy service mode preparing for the snow . I even put the plow on the big D today .:gman:
