Default New gun range in Flint/Burton

www.advancedranges.com

The website isn't quite finished but just call them for info they are great to deal with.

Nicest indoor range in the state by far. Awesome ventilation system, electronically controlled targets and a huge pro shop that they are getting stocked with gear.

They also have the nicest 3D archery range I've seen and an air rifle range for the kids.

Take 69 to Center rd, go north about 1 mile it's on your right hand side. Big white sign out front and big blue building. Can't miss it.

And just for the sake of full disclosure I'll add that I'm going to be working there a couple nights a week running the range and selling guns. I only applied because a buddy of mine is working there and I was really impressed with the place.

I shoot a lot and generally dislike indoor ranges. They're either too crowded, the air is too dirty or their rules are way too strict. This place is safe but gives you some freedom.

Firearm Exchange just opened a new range in Livonia. I think it's open for business now. It's supposed to be pretty nice as well but I haven't been there yet.

It's a group of 5 different owners. I believe this is their first attempt at the firearm industry. They are all business owners/managers from other sectors. I think one or two of them has an archery background which is what fueled the indoor 3D archery range. They are doing it right though, and have hired a lot of good guys to run the place. Steve Fisher is the lead trainer/owner of MDFI (www.michigantrainer.com) and Jake Di Vita is a highly accredited competition shooter. There is a list of staff bio's on the website, though I don't think the owners are listed yet.

I've only shot at top gun once, but yes I do believe Advanced is nicer. They spared no expense on the range, including the air filtration system which is important for both shooters and staff. The store front is huge, though they are still waiting on some product to arrive. Check the place out, I think you'll be impressed.
