Default My Dad's Metal sculpture

My dad is a metal sculptor artist, has been for some 30+ years. Just thought I would share his last creation. The train started its life as a 1930s or 1940s check writing machine.

AWESOME! That's incredible talent!

I visit family in WV every 4th of July and go to the Ripley arts and crafts fair while there. There's a guy that has been there every year for a long time that does stuff like this and I can't wait to get to his booth each year to see what he's done new. I bought my dad a small one for Christmas one year...

You have other pics of other sculptures? You should start a thread for them. I for one would love to see more.

its guys like your dad that inspired me to do what i do today. to this moment im still blown away by what these guys can do with just a pair of hands and some really ordinary tools. ive got many stories on the topic but i dont want to derail your thread. thanks -
