Default wheel center holes....

i was originally told that chevy, ford and dodge all have the same 8 bolt pattern. although that is true, ive heard that the center holes for the hubs are bigger on fords than it is on chevys. my buddy told me that chevy center hole is 5 1/4 inch but i dont have any extra ford 8 lug rims here to check. anyone know how big a ford rim center hole needs to be to clear the hubs of a 77' f-250? thanks in advance guys.
