I am not supporting his decision, but it is HIS business and HIS decision, don't like it don't go. There are quite a few parks in MI and IN now that are probably just as good or better, support them instead if you don't want to risk the fee.
Why bring reasonability to this thread?

Ive been there and it is awesome. The fees people are posting are wrong. My wife, son and I all 3 went for the whole weekend last month for only $35 and that was all I spent . There are no time shares to worry about. The class is about 45 min or so They cover safety and property lines for the most part. You only do it once a year and its good for the whole year. You can wheel from 8am til midnight . Quiet time from midnight til 8 am so people can get some sleep. You only pay the $500 fee if you drive it off a cliff or get it somewhere that nothing but heavy equipment can get it out. Otherwise you dont pay an extra fee at all. I highly reccomend the place and have only been there once but am going back from now on . Where can you go to camp for $35 for the whole weekend let alone Wheeling, shooting ranges, swimming, boating, hikeing, hot showers, fishing. The only thing I have to pay extra for is electric.Sounds like a deal to me! How much would it cost to have a back hoe or dozer trucked in from whereever and driven back to whereever you got stuck and get you out ? As long as your not an idiot then you wont have to worry about that.

I will disagree. It's $30 just to get a vehicle in and $5 for your wife and $5 if your son is 16+. So that's $35 right there and another $10 to camp per vehicle and $15 if you want power.

You can also only wheel until 11pm (most weekends unless there is a special event) and cannot wheel before 9am the next morning.

And most places charge less than $50, if anything to recovr a stuck vehicle.

First off , my kid is 10 and They didnt charge me anything else. Just $35 and thats it. I went with $50 and came home with $15. And they only charge for recovery if they need to bring out heavy equip. Other wise you dont pay any recovery expenses no matter how many times you get puled out.

I'm just quoting the rates on their website. It seems you were undercharged the n if you camped like you mentioned.

I might have been but my buddy has gone every month for the past 8 months and has paid same amount each time. He has a wife and a 10 year old also. Unless their prices are wrong on the site. I dont know. You should check it out one time and see what I mean . Youd have a blast.

-Camping charges are set at $10 per trail vehicle loaded w/ seat belt wearing passengers. Additional persons wishing to camp w/a paid vehicle will also be $10 additional per person. Yes that is in addition to their paid 5 dollar guest fee.

NON-Jeeping campers: SAME AS JeepSkooler's rules.

No guest vehicles are permitted in the North parking lot without purchasing a JeepSkool pass.
No exceptions.

*Tow vehicles with their rigs/campers in tow are included in your JeepSkool pass.

It kinda sounds like a "kool" place But at the same time it sounds like BS. There seems to be to many loop holds. Any one local ever go? What is your opinion on the place?

You are new to the sport and thus is why it seems hardcore. Thats the point of JeepSKOOL to show the new folks the ropes.

I am with the others here, anything bigger than a 35" tires is a total waste of time on ANYTHING they have to offer. The very little rocks that they do have are the only challenge there and again with atleat 35's it shoudl all be a walk in the park.

My biggest problem with JeepSkool right now is the fact that is is teaching new offroading the WRONG stuff. JeepSkool is NOT the real world of offroading. Go out to a parkl that isnt designed to teach you the ropes and see the differance.

Here is my STOCK jeep liberty taking on thier badda$$ rocks.

Did I get stuck at JeepSKool in the liberty? Yes of course I did, in the muddy stuff where I digged out in hug ruts. Did I ever get stuck on the rocks? No a stock IFS rig did everything that was open at that time.

They have opened alot more of the rock up sinc emy last trip there so there is some areas that the stock liberty probably wont do, but I will garuntee Id go in there without much fear of breaking something on it

Ron, Im not afraid to use my vehicles in anyway, if making it is possible I will make it, if it isnt I will probably break it.

Although thats probably the hardest I have ever been on the Liberty, its a bit new to destroy like my old stuff. Ive taken a stock tracker places I should have never been though.
