1- What is Jeep "school"?
It is our goal to provide and promote LEGAL off-road opportunities for all skill level 4X4 enthusiasts. Lead by example to those new to the sport and encourage others to participate in our off-road adventures. To educate and promote SAFE techniques to our fellow Jeeper's. To provide a family friendly environment for all our guests, all ages. To show property/landowners the we have the respect for their land and insure them that we are intolerant of those who choose to litter. Promise to remove all trash we find regardless upon who left it. To HELP all participants return home safely.

We will make every effort to promote merchants and sponsors we feel have met professional standards in the 4X4 industry. To promote these companies to our fellow members. To share with others, products that work, and those that have failed.

We will work with other Bulletin Boards to network those activities which satisfy the above conditions. We will not become a political voice for anyone. We will LEAD by example.

We are in the process of framing a lesson plan that includes a bit of everything the members asked for. As stated in my post on JS, the class time and itinerary will be announced shortly.

We cater to the new Jeeper. We are not a hardcore place to keep you on your lid all day. We are a clean, non-confrontational group of family friendly people. We welcome new people to ask questions to our members without the fear of the typical verbal bashing common on most BB today. We will remain a safe place for kids to view our site and it's content. Something our members requested. I will continue to respect their wishes.

If you visit our board, please respect our policies. I will return the same respect to you and yours.

PS
I assure you that I have nothing to sell you beside a JeepSkool T-shirt or hoodie.

Great reply above and I'm looking forward to you filling in the blanks.

From the pics and videos I saw on your site, there is a pretty good potential to go beyond the basic stocker. In fact, I saw some pretty nice rigs working it.

Do you ever envision taking it to the next level where a really built rig will be challenged. (as to your comment above, thankfully I have never put mine on it's lid) The pics show some great terrain. Do you have any thoughts on that or do you feel you will never offer the full range from mild to wild?

Jim,

I will continue to cater to the new Jeeper.

Thanks for taking some time to peek around our site to see what exactly we have to offer. We do indeed have some Hardcore obstacles to enjoy. However, this will not become a hardcore destination. As time and money permit, I will be building an obstacle coarse for our members to enjoy.

This is not a Jeep only place. We offer many things to do. Your Jeep just happens to get you there. Step outside that rig and go fishing on a boat. Maybe take a nature hike over to the beautiful ledges. Pick the many berries growing on the property with the kids. Maybe some alone time with the wife.(out of sight please) Camping at one of our electrical hook ups for the RV. Maybe ruffing it is your thing. Pick a spot of your liking. Take advantage of Ohio's only LEGAL outdoor class III gun range.

Something for everybody.

SAFE-LEGAL-FUN !!

Sounds like a good time. We plan on bringing our little (7-10 rigs) club (Borderline 4X4) in Feb 09 if the date works out. We are hoping for Feb. 2nd and 3rd.

Don't get me wrong I hope you later change your mind a build up a few acres for the built trail buggies too. You for sure have the space and terrain there already.

Just a heads up. JeepSkool is in full swing for the summer. Events are held on the first weekend of the month. You will not want to miss the July event. It will be an explosive time if you know what I mean.

Just a reminder - $500 if Kelly has to send the CAT to fetch you.

Why would you have to pay $500 just because you had misfortune going on trail ride led by trail leaders?

To clarify:

There is a $500 recovery charge(heavy equipment) for anyone who breaks down on a trail and CAN NOT be removed without major trail damage during the extraction. Regardless of who is in the front of the pack- or by yourself. This includes STAFF.

This charge is explained during Skool and is not negotiable. The equipment is owned by SHC and that is the fee they charge. Not anything I or you can do about it. Triple AAA is not going to save the day here or at any off road facility.

It's for any trail on the property and is variable based on location on the property. Any vehicle that cannot be removed without damaging the trails will be charged the Fee (starting at $500) and surrendered by the owner until the fee is paid in total.

A kid with a ZJ broke some front end component, I want to say a Ball Joint, and they were not allowed to strap the vehicle and drag it out from what I was told by Kelly. They used the excavator and put it on its trailer at the Factory until the owner paid the fee to remove it from the property.
