You can go on an optional tour type ride of the Property post school. Otherwise, you're on your own. The Trail Leaders only assist as requested/needed.

You do not need to have a staff member with you when you wheel. After you are Skooled for your first time, there is a trail ride that is mainly just a tour of the property so that we can show you where everything is. You are highly encouraged to go on this ride but it is no way necessary.

Time Out!

I thought you were a volunteer? Now you own the business.

Please elaborate.

Yes we were cutting a new trail at JeepSkool. I was coming down a pretty steep hill with a sharp turn at the bottpm. I ended up having A LOT of weight on one corner of my rig. I ended up popping a ball joint and destroying the u-joint/shaft. The decision was made that trying to drag/drive the Jeep out would do too much damage to the barely cut trail and potentially more damage to my Jeep. The least destructive option was to drag it out.

What happens when my rig needs to be recovered is my PRIVATE business. You absolutely zero right to inquire about my financial dealings. I would not come to you and ask what you pay for the land at your park or how much you get paid for the work that you do or how much money you currently have in your bank account.

Bottom line, when the decision is made that the heavy equipment needs to come out at JeepSkool, the piper needs to be paid.

See above post.

As before, if any body has any legitimate questions about JeepSkool, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer.

Ok I am not siding with anyone and nor do I have anything to do with Jeep Skool but you read the above statement wrong. He didn't say he owned anything. It says its not your business to know if he had to pay to be recovered (which I am guessing not)

I did read it wrong, thanks for pointing that out.

If he paid, it would have been a simple YES.

I'm done. I'll leave this post alone.

I am one of the volunteer staff members at JeepSkool. I am not here to become engaged in an argument. I was directed here from Pirate 4x4 where I responded to a similar thread. I am just going to copy/paste my reply from Pirate. I just hope to add a little bit of clarity as to what JeepSkool is all about as well as when a heavy equipment recovery is necessary.
.

THIS SAYS YOU ARE STAFF!!!!!!! 7th WORD IN THIS STATEMENT^^^^^^

In the last line lead one to beleive you are here to answer questions

This statement Conferms you are willing to answer question :::

If any one has any more questions, feel free to PM me here, on JeepSkool, or on Pirate.

Chris

Thank you !!

Like I have previously said, I am here to answer any questions ABOUT JEEPSKOOL. If any body has any questions ABOUT JEEPSKOOL, please PM them to me and I will answer them to the best of my ability.

I will not be answering any questions about my PERSONAL dealings, be it with JeepSKool or otherwise. Sorry if this upsets anybody.

Ok, lets rephrase the question so it is a question about jeep skool.

Does jeep skool charge its volunteer staff for recoverys?

I think he's trying to say don't ask. I've decided I'm done with this thread. In my opinion, the owner hs no credibility & I've got other things to do.

Yea i figured that too, but i figured seeing as they both like to play the beat around the bush game i may as well have a lil fun. They remind me of another couple that used to like to play these games.

It has nothing to do with YOUR personal dealings, it's just a question of how fairly the rules are enforced, by the sound of it, the rules can be bent for those who are specifically INCLUDED so it's fair to assume that the "rules" are not fairly enforced. So who's to say someone has to pay but others dont?

My guess is that your "skool" will be nothing more than a jeep jamboree. Do you know what that is?

OK great Jim - you drag me over here with a link, I sat and read all 26 pages (going to be late for work now) and now you are done?

I still have not seen an answer to a question waaaayyy back on page 2 or 3...if a new visitor to the park is required to sit through JeepSkool, and the Skool is geared to instruct the newbies that the park caters to on safe wheeling, please tell me the qualifications of the instructors? Are they UFWDA trained 4wd awareness instructors, trained by the Ohio DNR, or just someone hired because someone thought they had the right skills?
