I've got the U-bolt strap. You aren't getting it back.

Spromart's loss prevention department is getting busier as the economy slows...

Do you do scrap runs like I do?

Walk through the garage and do the "this is metal - don't need it," and remember later what purpose the metal piece was to serve.

I have considered this, but unused powdercoated brackets are not something that would have jumped out at me as having scrap value.

This time, there may actually be a possibility that they were lifted since they are smaller than that other bracket I had misplaced and somebody came to the house off Craigslist a while back. However, I would lean more towards the possibility that I threw them in with a deal on the spot. They are smaller it would also be easier to lose them in a box, etc. Cleaned out both vehicles so far and they haven't turned up.

I am getting worried about you. This is how my grandpa started out. First He started to misplace things and the next thing you know he was leaving the house without his pants on.
